NSC International Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Is there a minimum order?
A. Barely. Only $25! Every customer, large or small, is important to us and we understand that sometimes your need doesn't call for high volume. That's why our minimum is considerably less than many of our competitors. We serve small businesses as enthusiastically as large ones!.

Q. What type of binding system is right for me?
A. It depends upon the purpose of your book or presentation. Will it be referenced frequently and have pages added or removed? If so, plastic comb or looseleaf would be ideal. Security and durability more important? Plastic coil and double loop wire both meet that criteria. The point is, NSC has the appropriate binding system for any need. Any of our professional binding consultants will be happy to evaluate your specific application and recommend the perfect solution!

Q. What size of binding do I need for my book?
A. It depends upon the number of pages you wish to bind and the overall thickness of the book, which might include covers and index tabs. When you determine this, add about 1/8" to the total thickness and round up to the next diameter of binding available, whether plastic comb, plastic coil or double loop wire. If you are still uncertain, our binding professionals are eager to assist. We even have size selector charts available on this website, or we can fax them to you as well. One way or another, we'll make sure you get it right the first time!

Q. Is it worth the extra expense to have my presentation material imprinted?
A. Let's look at it this way: How much have you spent on the printing of your book or presentation? Chances are, the cost of binding that book represents no more than a fifth of the printing cost. So isn't it worth a few extra cents per binding or cover to present that book in the most favorable way? After all, the primary purpose of a book or presentation is to be read! With a professional customization job by NSC, that purpose will be fulfilled!

Q. What are your art requirements for custom imprinted work?
A. Just click on the link below and you'll find our art requirements spelled out clearly and concisely. Again, though, if you have any uncertainty, just ask - artwork can be a little tricky sometimes, but our experts will lead you through it with ease!

Q. How quickly can I receive my order?
A. Stock orders received by 12:00 noon will almost always ship the same day. Any stock order able to ship UPS may be received as late as 4:00 PM and ship the same day. Custom imprinted orders for plastic combs, covers or 3-ring binders will generally ship within 2-4 weeks, depending upon the size and complexity of the order. Rest assured our custom order professionals will always give you a realistic and competitive lead time for your most important presentation material.

Q. Can you drop ship to multiple locations?
A. We can and do drop ship products to our customer's designated destinations every day. Just tell us when you order and relax. Whether it ships from Hot Springs or from one of our many supplier factories worldwide, you may rest assured that your order will be shipped by the most efficient means possible.

Q. What are the advantages of lamination?
A. Document protection, certainly. For those frequently handled documents, charts, maps, menus, etc., lamination is the only practical way to ensure a long life. But don't forget that lamination goes well beyond the basics. When image matters - posters, signs, banners, or other promotional material - lamination not only protects, but brings out the color with eye-popping clarity. Either way, it's a money-saver in the long run, by extending the life of your document or adding value to the printed piece you are producing for your customer. From desktop to digital to production, NSC is your one-stop lamination superstore, with a wide selection of machines and supplies to finish your job professionally!

Q. What are the differences in laminating film grades?
A. They vary depending upon the situation. The attached link will provide you with a complete synopsis of our wide range of films and the applications for which they are designed. As always, our laminating professionals are but a phone call away to assist in the selection of the film that is right for you.

Q. Do you provide after sales service to equipment?
A. Absolutely! We service every machine we sell. Our experienced service technicians are always available to answer your questions and resolve any technical issue to your complete satisfaction. In many cases, we can get your equipment up and running over the phone, or expedite a parts shipment that will solve your problem. If it requires some hands-on attention, we'll turn it around quickly and efficiently to minimize your down time. Good service after the sale is just something we do very well - and have done for over 40 years!

Q. Do you provide on-site installation and training for wide format equipment?
A. Yes. When we began selling wide format laminators - 36" and wider - several years ago, our research revealed that there was a desperate need for on-site service. So we offered it with the sale of every laminator and a tradition was born that endures today to include wide format digital printers. Our factory-certified service technicians are available to come to your place of business to protect your investment! We'll set it up, make sure it's performing properly and thoroughly train you or your employees so you can immediately begin receiving the return on that investment you deserve!.

Q. What credit information do you require?
A. We accept payment by credit card and we are certainly happy to offer net 30 terms with appropriate credit information. Click on the attached link for more details. Usually, a bank and two trade references will be enough to establish your account for what we hope will be a long term relationship with NSC!
